our last night; max crashed out at 6pm! so much for bali being a 'relaxing' destination!





cleo turned 6 months old, while we were away. she now coos, gives sloppy kisses, giggles out loud, and is a happy & contented little buddha!



view from our hotel room (the jayakarta)... that's legian beach, just past those red & white flags (which, incidentally, were EVERYWHERE, to celebrate indonesia's independence day on 17 august).

2wks in paradise aka bali

our flight to denpasar was delayed by more than 2 hours... this did not bode well! thankfully, once we did eventually board the flight, both cleo & max slept soundly... albeit hogging more than their fair share of the seats!





waterbom park: max tried the bungee trampoline, aaron & damon tested the maximum weight bearing load on the boomerang waterslide (!) and cleo & i did lots of 'hanging out' by the kiddy pool!






safari park: a seriously HOT day - surprised we didn't M.E.L.T! we all enjoyed our interactions with the various animals...
