i'm going to make porridge in the slow cooker tonight - anyone tried this before?

don't bother with porridge making in the slow cooker! not really worth the bother, nor the electricity! aaron freaked when he realised i'd been cooking oats for ten hours!
i just received a 'thank you' email from the state library, as i'd added a suggestion to their 'box' - it's nice to be appreciated
